1st Annual Country Quilt Hanging Competition"

10am - 5pm Friday 30th October to Friday 6th November

We are cordially inviting all our wonderful VIP's and friends to enter in our competition. This is an open event to everyone our only theme is that it has to fit the "Country Look" sorry no brights, Japanese or Modern.

Categories are as follows:

BEST PIECED QUILT - 1ST PRIZE $100 FABRIC VOUCHER 2ND PRIZE $50 FABRIC VOUCHER BEST EFFORT - GIFT

BEST APPLIQUED QUILT - 1ST PRIZE $100 FABRIC VOUCHER 2ND PRIZE $50 FABRIC VOUCHER BEST EFFORT- GIFT

BEST WALL HANGING - 1ST PRIZE $50 FABRIC VOUCHER 2ND PRIZE $25 FABRIC VOUCHER BEST EFFORT - GIFT

BEST JUNIOR QUILT/ WALLHANGING - 1ST PRIZE $25 GIFT VOUCHER 2ND PRIZE $10 GIFT VOUCHER BEST EFFORT - GIFT

Registration costs $5 per quilt, $3 per wall hanging, limit of 3 quilts per entrant. Junior entries under 16 years are free!

Entries close 5pm Thursday 15th October.

Come on all your clever people who can sew so brilliantly. Don't be shy, don't think what you have made isn't good enough, everyone has a chance to win! The more of you who enter the bigger and better our Quilt hanging will be. The money raised from your entries and gold coin donation for entry to view will be going to the Megaid Trust, Meg Margaret Casley is a local little girl who has cerebal palsy and we are hoping to help raise funds for her and her family to go overseas to have some life changing treatment, for more information visit Meg's blog www.megcasley.blogspot.com. Well time is getting away from us, and it's less than 2 weeks until our Workshop Weekend. Above is a picture of the fantastic 12" x 12" Cake Tin that Cindy has created.
